Chelsea vs Arsenal

We start with the biggest game of the weekend, and perhaps one of the most intense fanbase rivalries in recent time. Enzo Maresca's Chelsea welcome the Gunners to Stamford Bridge, looking to build on an impressive start to the season (W5, D3, L2).

The Blues were far from spectacular in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United last weekend, but will believe they can perform much better this time, especially at home, where they have lost just once all season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are going through tough times. Last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Newcastle means they are now 7 points off the top spot, and instead of bouncing back against Inter Milan in midweek, they lost again (1-0).

Nothing seems to be going right for Mikel Arteta and his men, and dropping points against Chelsea may just signal the end of their title charge. The Gunners averaged just one shot on target in their last two league games and must do better to take anything from this game.

Arsenal have been superior in this fixture recently (5 wins in the last 6 meetings), but their shaky form means our bet of the day is for the Blues to avoid defeat.

Brighton vs Manchester City

Brighton have shown they will not be bullied, no matter the opposition. Fabian Hurzeler’s men are never underdogs in any game, and they showed that by running Liverpool very close in the 2-1 defeat at Anfield last weekend. They have already beaten Tottenham and Manchester United this season, and considering Manchester City’s form, this could be the best time for Brighton to face the champions.

Man City coming into town is usually a scary prospect, but this is not the same dominant team from the last two seasons. Pep Guardiola’s men were knocked off top spot after losing 2-1 to Bournemouth, and followed that up with a brutal 4-1 defeat to Sporting CP three days later.

Both sides are still very potent going forward but defensively suspect and City’s record of just 2 clean sheets this season, means there could be an upset. Our full time prediction is for both teams to score.

Manchester United vs Leicester City

It is a new era at Manchester United, with Erik ten Hag's tenure coming to an end and Sporting's Ruben Amorim appointed as his successor.

Interim boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy had a decent start to his temporary stint (W2, D1), and the players looked rejuvenated in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last weekend. This is a repeat of last week's EFL Cup fixture, which United won 5-2 and looked utterly dominant.

Leicester have had an inconsistent season, but are on track to achieve their goal of avoiding a relegation battle. Jordan Ayew's 94th-minute strike earned them a 1-1 draw against Ipswich, sending them 5 points clear of the drop zone.

Despite their heavy defeat to United in the EFL Cup, this fixture has been quite even in recent years, with the Foxes winning 3 of the last 7 meetings (D1, L3). However, it's hard to see them getting anything out of this one, so we are backing a United win, for the best odds.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Arne Slot's Liverpool are top of the Premier League after 10 games (W8, D1, L1), and have exceeded expectations after many expected them to struggle with Jurgen Klopp's departure. Their only defeat so far came at home against Nottingham Forest, but Slot's men have improved massively since then.

They boast one of the league's best attacks (19 goals scored) and the stingiest defence, (6 goals conceded). They will also go into this one buoyed by the 4-0 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen in midweek, a result that sent a strong message to the rest of Europe.

Unai Emery's men have failed to win any of their last 4 games (L2, D1), and were completely outplayed in the 4-1 defeat to Tottenham last weekend. The wheels seem to be falling off, week after week, and their recent record in this fixture (L6, D2), leaves even less room for positivity.

Mohamed Salah is in excellent form, with 8 goals and 8 assists in 14 games this season. 6 of those strikes have come at Anfield the smart bet prediction is for the Egyptian to shine in a home win.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham

Crystal Palace have endured a miserable start to the season (W1, D4, L5), and another bad result could mark the end of the road for manager Oliver Glasner. They are, at least, unbeaten in their last two, which should offer some encouragement against a Fulham side they haven’t beaten in their last five meetings (D4, L1).

Palace have also conceded 13 goals in 10 games this season - the 10th best defensive record in the league - suggesting they could move further up the table if the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Jean-Phillippe Mateta start firing.

Meanwhile, Fulham snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against Brentford thanks to a stoppage-time brace from late substitute Harry Wilson. That victory sent Marco Silva's men just three points off the top four, and fans at Craven Cottage can start to dream of European football.

Fulham are in better form, but their defence is a concern, having kept just one clean sheet in 10 league games this season, which makes the smart bet prediction here for both teams to score.

The cards market could also provide value as the hosts have been booked 3+ times in 5 of their last 7 games.

Juventus vs Torino

The Bianconeri are incredibly dominant in the Turin derby, regardless of current form, injuries, or league standing. They have lost just once against Torino across the last 38 meetings (W28, D9).

Thiago Motta's men are unbeaten in Serie A this season (W5, D6) and will hope to keep their excellent head-to-head record going and turn those draws into wins.

Their midweek draw against Lille (1-1) means they have now lost just once in 15 matches this season. They also boast Serie A's best defence, having conceded just six goals.

On the other hand, Torino's fortunes have taken a drastic turn. Despite starting matchday top of Serie A, they enter this weekend's round in 10th place after a dreadful run of five defeats in six league matches.

Each of those five losses came by a single-goal margin, including last weekend's late defeat at home against Fiorentina.

Paolo Vanoli's men have scored just once in their last three matches and will need to find the net at least once to stand a chance of taking anything from this one.
We believe Juve will have too much for Torino, and our full time prediction is a slim home win

Real Madrid vs Osasuna

Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid was supposed to lift the European champions to a totally different level but the reality has been much different.

The 3-1 defeat to AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League in midweek - which followed a 4-0 humbling against Barcelona has put manager Carlo Ancelotti in the hot seat.

Los Blancos are 9 points behind leaders Barcelona, albeit with a game in hand, and they cannot afford to lose further ground.

Ideally, a game against Osasuna is the perfect fixture to get them back on track, as they have not lost to Osasuna at home since April 2004 (W14, D3).

Osasuna beat Valladolid 1-0 last weekend to end the matchday in fifth place and just three points adrift of their esteemed hosts after a flying start to their league campaign.

They are already eight points better off than at this stage last season, and crucially, have now won consecutive league games for the first time since February.

If Osasuna can get the opening goal, it will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts, but Real’s record at home is superb and we are backing them to bounce back.

Real Sociedad vs Barcelona

Real Sociedad have recovered after a poor start to the season, winning three of their last five matches (D1, L1), including an impressive 2-0 win away at Sevilla.

However, this is not a fixture that will fill them with joy, considering the fact that they have won just one of their last 16 meetings against Barcelona.

They will also be without a number of key players this weekend. Ander Barrenetxea misses out with an ankle injury, while Kieran Tierney, Pablo Martin, Hamari Traore and Arsen Zakharyan are also out.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have made a scintillating start to life under Hansi Flick, and a victory on Sunday could take them into the international break with a 12-point advantage at the top of La Liga.

The visitors have won their last five games, including the 5-2 thrashing of Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League on Wednesday. They are also the highest scorers in La Liga, rattling home a staggering 40 goals from their 12 matches.

Home or away, Hansi Flick's Barca are an unstoppable force, but their defensive highline means teams will have an opportunity, and it's up to Sociedad to take their chances. Enjoy the best odds by betting Barcelona to win and both teams to score.

Inter vs Napoli

The biggest match in Serie A this weekend features the two main contenders for this season’s Scudetto colliding at the San Siro.

Inter Milan will leapfrog Napoli with a win, and their confidence must be sky high after a memorable Champions League win over Arsenal in midweek. The hosts are unbeaten in their last 9 (W8, D1), and this is the kind of form that made them champions.

Napoli will be aiming to bounce back from that disappointing 3-0 defeat to Atalanta last weekend. Antonio Conte’s men had been riding a 6-game winning streak before that defeat and must now get back on track to avoid losing grip on top spot.

Napoli’s record in this fixture is unlikely to inspire much confidence though, as they have won just one of their last ten matches against the Nerazzurri.

Our full time prediction here is a slim win for Inter, and both teams to score.

AS Roma vs Bologna

To say Roma have been disappointing this season is a gross understatement. They are closer to the relegation zone than the top four in Serie A, and Ivan Juric, who arrived in September to steady the ship, has done very little steadying.

They have won just four of their last 10 games and looked underwhelming in their 1-1 Europa League draw against Royale Union SG. Defeat here could mean the end of Juric's reign as the Giallorossi try to rescue their season.

Meanwhile, Bologna have failed to carry on the momentum from last season and now look more like a mid-table team than a side with any real European aspirations.

They lost 1-0 at home in the Champions League against Monaco and have now won just two of their last nine matches in all competitions.

Our bet prediction is for Juric's men to avoid defeat at home.
