Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester City

After a successful FA Cup weekend that saw both teams punch their tickets to the Quarter-finals, they face off in the EPL with the 3rd spot on the line.

Forest haven’t beaten Man City in their last nine league meetings—a streak dating back to a 3-2 win in 1997, which, fun fact, was in the Championship, not the EPL.

City have had the upper hand lately, winning their last three encounters by a combined score of 7-0. But this isn’t the same old Forest. With Chris Wood, Anthony Elanga, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Sels all in top form, they’re no pushovers. Plus, Erling Haaland’s availability is up in the air—he played just 30 minutes in the FA Cup win over Plymouth, and City might manage his minutes here too.

Forest recently held Arsenal to a goalless draw and frustrated Liverpool before that, so don’t expect an easy ride for Pep’s side. This one could get tricky.

Betting Tips:

Liverpool vs. Southampton

Mo Salah wearing a white Liverpool jersey and smiling in joy/disbelief

If you needed proof that the football gods are smiling on Liverpool this season, Wednesday’s win over PSG is Exhibit A.

In what was one of the most intense Champions League fixtures of the season, the Reds managed just two shots all game, with their only one on target finding the back of the net. Meanwhile, PSG unleashed 27 attempts—10 on target—while hogging 71% of the possession. Outgoing keeper Alisson was the man of the match, pulling off a career-best nine saves. Which raises the question—why are they letting him leave this summer? And for free?? Sure, injuries have been an issue, but he’s only 32—that’s like 26 in goalie years.

Up next is a home game against the league’s worst team, Southampton, which is exactly the fixture they need with a tense second leg against PSG looming on Tuesday.

I expect Arne Slot to play it safe here—13-point lead or not, you don’t take risks in the Premier League. He’ll likely put out a strong enough lineup to get the win, but one of our betting tips today is to not expect the usual goal fest against a side like Southampton.

Betting Tips:

Chelsea vs. Leicester City

Cole Palmer (1).jpg

Leicester City are only five points from safety, but if you watch them play, you’d think they’ve already accepted relegation. With just one win in their last 12 league games, they’re basically handing out points for free.

Chelsea's Thursday trip to Denmark to face Copenhagen in the Europa Conference League, so fatigue might be a factor—but let’s be real, it probably won’t matter. Even with the extra travel, I fully expect them to walk away with all three points against this struggling Leicester side.

Betting Tips:

Brentford vs. Aston Villa

Aston Villa made it four wins on the bounce across all competitions this Tuesday, and the vibes at Villa Park just keep getting better.

After a 2-0 FA Cup win over Cardiff City, they hit the road to face Club Brugge in the Champions League. Having already lost to the Belgian side earlier this season (on Matchday 4), this wasn’t going to be a walk in the park—but two late goals sealed a 3-1 victory when it looked like a draw was on the cards.

Winter signing Marco Asensio is proving to be a game-changer, bagging his fifth goal for Villa. For context, he only managed two goals in five months at PSG but has already hit five in just five weeks for his new club.

Up next is Brentford, and there’s reason for optimism—Villa are unbeaten in their last five against the Bees. They’ve found the net in all seven Premier League meetings between the sides, though they’ve only managed one clean sheet.

With Brentford’s attacking duo of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa in solid form, the Both Teams to Score market looks like a smart play. In fact, 43% of Brentford’s home league games have seen both teams score before halftime, so we think this is a solid pick for our online betting community.

Betting Tips:

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Bournemouth

Spurs are slowly getting some key players back, with Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario both featuring in the 1-0 loss to Man City. But let’s be honest—they’re still far from their best, which makes this game feel tricky.

Adding to the challenge, they’ve got a Europa League trip to the Netherlands to face AZ Alkmaar in the Round of 16 first leg—a tough fixture considering they already met in the group stage, where Spurs scraped a 1-0 win thanks to a Richarlison penalty.

Fatigue could be a real factor here, especially since Bournemouth will have four extra days of rest. Yes, Spurs have dominated this matchup at home, winning six of their last seven against the Cherries, but this Bournemouth side is different—they already won the reverse fixture and are eyeing a first-ever league double over Spurs.

One thing’s for sure: expect goals. Only Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium (56) has seen more Premier League goals scored than the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (52) this season. So, lean on goals as well, which BetKing has the best odds for...as usual.

Betting Tips:

Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Arsenal_ Habitual chokers or unlucky with injuries_.jpg

Something about Mikel Arteta’s approach to last season’s trip to Old Trafford makes me think he’ll play it safe again this time. Much like now, Man Utd were there for the taking back then, and while many (myself included) expected Arsenal to blow them away, they settled for a cautious 1-0 win which, honestly, makes some sense.

As shaky as United have been, they still show up against the big boys. I mean, they knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup having played an hour with 10 men just last month.

I’m expecting a similar script here—a low-scoring game where the Gunners avoid defeat. I’d be more confident in an Arsenal win if they had more attacking firepower available with Bukayo Saka and other forwards out—which, yes, sounds strange considering they just dropped seven goals on PSV in the Champions League.

But hey, better to play it safe than take unnecessary risks.

Betting Tips:

Barcelona vs. Osasuna

Rapinha with his arms wide open and spread above his head, a la Bellingham

I’m not sure how they pulled it off, but despite playing over an hour with 10 men, Barcelona somehow left Portugal with a win over Benfica—even after the hosts fired 26 shots at goal.

Once again, it was Raphinha who made the difference, with his 61st-minute strike proving to be the winner. The Brazilian is having a monster season—25 goals, 18 assists, and an eye-popping record of 9 goals in 9 Champions League appearances making him one of the UCL top scorers.

This weekend, focus shifts back to LaLiga, where they’ll need to treat Osasuna with real caution. After all, Osasuna stunned them with a 4-2 win at El Sadar earlier this season, snapping a five-game losing streak against the Catalans. You can bet Hansi Flick hasn’t forgotten that and will be eager to set things straight.

Barcelona are in red-hot league form, winning their last six while keeping four clean sheets. They also became the first team to score 71+ goals after 26 LaLiga matches since their own record-breaking 2016/17 season (76 goals).

I fully expect them to get their revenge—and do it in style.

Betting Tips:

Inter vs. Monza

Martinez.jpg

In this first-vs-last showdown, Inter welcomes Monza to the San Siro, and let’s be honest—I fully expect a routine win for the hosts.

Fresh off a 2-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Champions League, where they recorded their eighth clean sheet in nine games, Inter’s defense is looking rock-solid.

Meanwhile, Monza have managed just 17 goals in 27 league matches, so it would be a real shock if they find the net here. Serie A results haven't been kind to Monza this season and relegation is an inevitability at this point. Sorry, Alessandro Nesta.

Betting Tips:

Rennes vs. PSG

Ousmane Dembele dribbling the ball

After a gut-wrenching loss to Liverpool in the Champions League that snapped their 10-game winning streak, PSG head to Rennes on Saturday for a tricky Ligue 1 clash.

The numbers suggest this won’t be a stroll for the Parisians. For one, Rennes have won 4 of their last 5 league games. Also, they’ve been a thorn in PSG’s side—they’ve beaten them more times (7) than any other Ligue 1 team since the QSI takeover in 2011/12. Plus, they’ve only lost once in their last five home league meetings with PSG, winning three times and drawing once. There’s also a pattern worth noting: four of PSG’s league draws this season have come immediately after a Champions League game.

While PSG would love to keep their unbeaten league run going, it’s clear their focus will be on Tuesday’s return leg at Anfield. With that in mind, don’t be surprised if Luis Enrique rests a few key players here and my bet of the day is Rennes avoiding defeat.

Betting Tips:

Real Madrid vs. Rayo Vallecano

Vini (1).jpg

With just one win in their last five league games—a slump that has dropped them from first to third—Real Madrid face a must-win clash against Rayo Vallecano this weekend.

Historically, this fixture favors Los Blancos, who’ve beaten Rayo 31 times in 43 LaLiga meetings. But here’s the twist—Rayo have taken points from five of their last eight encounters (W2 D3 L3) after losing the previous 17 straight.

Currently sitting 7th, Rayo are chasing a European spot, thanks largely to a rock-solid defense that’s conceded just 27 goals this season—the sixth-best record in LaLiga. But let’s be honest, defensive stats might not mean much when you remember their last meeting ended in a wild 3-3 draw.

Given Real Madrid’s looming Champions League 2nd leg showdown with Atleti, I’m not entirely sold on them cruising to a win here. Instead, I’m leaning toward a game with plenty of goals.

Betting Tips:

Napoli vs. Fiorentina

Napoli’s five-game winless streak in the league suggests they’re running out of steam, and while it might sound dramatic, Antonio Conte’s Scudetto dream is slipping away—despite being just one point behind Inter. It’s also uncharted territory for Conte, as this is the first time one of his teams in the top five European leagues has gone five matches without a win.

Historically, it’s been an even battle between these two sides, with the last six meetings producing two wins each and two draws. Given the uncertainty surrounding Napoli’s form, this is a tough game to call—but playing it safe, backing Napoli to avoid defeat feels like the smartest move.

Betting Tips:

Juventus vs. Atalanta

Juventus have been a tough team to figure out lately, with losses to Benfica, PSV, and Empoli over the past six weeks. That said, they seem to bring their A-game in Serie A, winning five straight, including a gritty 1-0 victory over league leaders Inter recently.

They usually keep things tight in big matches—aside from that wild 4-4 draw with Inter back in October. Historically, they’ve had Atalanta’s number, losing just twice in their last 40 meetings (W25, D13). Given the trends, a low-scoring affair where Juventus avoids defeat feels like a safe call.
