The revamped league phase of the UEFA Champions League is set for a thrilling conclusion, and the drama comes to a head on Wednesday with all 18 matches kicking off simultaneously, which means our online betting community is in for a treat.

While teams like Barcelona and Liverpool have already secured their spots in the knockout round, pre-tournament favorites like Manchester City and PSG are far from safe and will come into the final matchday intent on avoiding an early exit from Europe’s premier club competition.

Scroll to enjoy our top picks as well as the bet code for today.

Brest vs Real Madrid

Brest began their UEFA Champions League campaign with three wins in their first four games, but two defeats across their last three matches have seen them lose their grip on an automatic spot in the knockout round.

However, the French side are guaranteed a place in the knockout phase play-offs, a huge achievement in their first-ever European campaign.

In contrast, Real Madrid started their European campaign slowly but improved as the season went on and are now just one point behind Brest (W4, L3). Like their opponents, Carlo Ancelotti’s men are guaranteed a play-off spot but hope a win here can take them directly into the round of 16 after crushing Salzburg 5-1 last week.

Los Blancos are in remarkable scoring form at the moment, with 17 goals scored in their last four matches (W4), including Saturday’s 3-0 La Liga win over Real Valladolid, where Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick.

Real Madrid will be eager to secure direct entry into the knockout round, and we believe they will have enough to win.

Real Madrid to win @1.40

Inter Milan vs Monaco

Inter Milan only need to avoid defeat at home against Monaco to guarantee their automatic progression to the Round of 16, and their record of 12 straight home games without defeat in this competition (W10, D2) means their confidence levels will be sky-high.

Meanwhile, Monaco are enjoying a fine run in the Champions League this season but must win this game to finish in the top 8. Their away record in this tournament so far has not been great (W1, D1, L1), and they have won just one of their last ten UCL away games (D4, L5).

Monaco may draw some encouragement from that sole win coming on Italian soil during this season, but it was at UCL debutants Bologna, and this is a different ball game, one we expect them to lose.

Girona vs Arsenal

Girona shocked the world to even qualify for the Champions League in the first place, but that luck has deserted them in the league phase (W1, L6).

Michel’s men are now playing for pride with their elimination already confirmed, but Arsenal are not the team to face when you’re on a run of 3 straight defeats.

There is no real jeopardy riding on the result here as Arsenal are assured of a top-eight finish and automatic progression to the last 16.

However, they will be keen to maintain their four-game unbeaten run (W3, D1) and keep momentum going as the season enters its decisive stage.

Mikel Arteta’s men reacted well to a controversial red card against Wolves at the weekend to steal a 1-0 win, and our bet of the day is for them to defeat Girona, even with a potentially changed side.

●  Bet Builder: Kai Havertz to score anytime and Over 1.5 goals @3.00

●  Arsenal to win @1.62

Juventus vs Benfica

Juventus suffered their first Serie A loss of the season as they were defeated 2-1 by Napoli. The Bianconeri are now 16-points behind the league leaders, and the rest of their season hinges on a top-four finish and a deep run in the Champions League, where they have already qualified for the next round.

Thiago Motta’s men have drawn half of their 31 games in all competitions this season (W12, D16, L3) but they did beat Manchester City 2-0 in their last UCL match at home and will be confident of avoiding defeat here.

Meanwhile, Benfica ended up on the wrong side of a nine-goal thriller against Barcelona (lost 5-4) last week, despite having a two-goal advantage at half-time.

They are just two points ahead of 25th-placed Manchester City and their defensive woes continued over the weekend when they lost 3-1 to Casa Pia.

They are certainly not in great form, but their record against Juventus is impressive, with six wins in eight European H2Hs, and a win here will take them into the playoffs.

In your hunt for a winning bet code, you’re unlikely to find many bets on goals scored in a game involving Juventus. However, Benfica have struggled to keep clean sheets recently, and even this goal-shy Juve team could bag a couple of goals here.

●  Juventus vs Benfica: Full time draw @3.20

Stuttgart vs PSG

This will be one of the most nail-biting matchups of the final day. The hosts sit 24th in the standings, knowing that only a win here will guarantee them a position in the knockout stages, but they also enter this game out of form; they were beaten 2-0 by Mainz at the weekend, and have just one victory from their last ten European home games (D6, L3).

PSG are tied with Stuttgart with ten points but sit higher up the table owing to a superior goal difference.

Their position could’ve been a lot worse, but they produced a stunning 4-2 comeback win against Manchester City last week to boost their chances of advancing.

The French side failed to garner the momentum at the weekend with a 1-1 home draw against Reims, but they only need a point to secure passage into the playoffs, and you can land a big win prediction by backing Luis Enrique’s men to avoid defeat here.

●  Bradley Barcola anytime goalscorer @3.90

Dortmund vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Borussia Dortmund’s hugely disappointing season continued on Saturday, as they threw away a 2-0 lead at home to Werder Bremen. This was the first match under caretaker boss Mike Tullberg, who succeeded Nuri Şahin after the 2-1 Champions League defeat against Bologna last week.

Now, Dortmund need to beat Shakhtar Donetsk to have any chance of progressing automatically to the last 16. They will take some confidence from their extremely strong record against Ukrainian sides (W6, D2).

Shakhtar’s hopes of making the UCL knockout phase are hanging by a thread, they currently sit five points adrift of the top 24 teams and due to a long winter break, they are unlikely to be as sharp as their hosts. Their only competitive fixture in 2025 came last week when they beat Brest 2-0 to keep their chances of progression alive.

They will need to win here and hope other results go their way to progress and we think that to be an unlikely ask.

Both teams are in patchy form, but Dortmund are the better side, are at home, and should get the job done.

●  Borussia Dortmund to win @1.37

Aston Villa vs Celtic

Aston Villa began 2025 with three successive wins but have now gone three games without a win (D2, L1). After losing to Monaco last week, Unai Emery’s men have lost their grip on a top-eight spot.

Villa know they have to beat Celtic comfortably to give themselves the best possible chance, and history suggests that they can continue that trend, with English sides winning five of the last seven games they’ve hosted against Scottish opponents in the European Cup/UCL (D2).

Celtic have had some extra rest and recuperation time for this clash after their weekend game against Dundee was postponed.

They’ll be optimistic coming into this game, having won five of their last six games (D1). Their spot in the top 24 is assured already, but they will want to finish strong and end their four-game winless streak against English sides.

However, Celtic’s record on the road in this tournament makes for grim reading, with five draws and 15 losses in their last 20 games. Villa Park will not be an easy venue either and a great way to boost your betting stake is by betting on Emery’s men to get a slim win.

Manchester City vs Club Brugge

Manchester City’s 4-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last week pushed Pep Guardiola’s side out of the ‘top 24’, meaning they have it all to do as they face Club Brugge on the final day – they need to beat the Belgian side to advance to the knockout phase play-offs.

Guardiola’s men returned to winning ways with an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend, and that should provide a great deal of confidence as they aim to avoid what will surely be a calamitous exit for a club of their stature.

Club Brugge know they will be eliminated if they lose, but their incredible recent run of 20 games unbeaten across all competitions since the end of September (W15, D5) means they will at least give City a run for their money.

They will still need to overcome their poor record against English clubs, as they have won just 1 of their last 14 meetings (L12).

This is a must-win for City, and in front of home support, knowing how high the stakes are, it’s hard to see any other outcome.
