Goalkeeper

Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest) vs. Newcastle

I’ll be honest—I don’t see Forest winning this game, but I’m still backing Sels because of the sheer pressure he’ll face. The Belgian thrives under pressure, ranking second in the league for saves and leading all goalkeepers with 110 FPL points. Win, lose, or draw, he consistently delivers solid FPL returns, and I’m banking on that trend continuing.

Defenders

Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton) vs. Man Utd

I’m pretty sure you don’t need me to spell out just how bad United have been in front of goal. They’ve managed just 28 league goals all season—Mo Salah alone has 24. Their €120m strike duo of Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee? A grand total of... wait for it... 3 goals since December. To make things worse, Amad, their best player recently, is now out for the season. So where do the goals come from? I think David Moyes smells blood and will be eager to pile on the misery against his old club. I’m backing Everton to keep a clean sheet here so go ahead and include Jarrad Branthwaite.

Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth) vs. Wolves

Milos Kerkez has been one of the standout FPL defenders this season, averaging 3.7 points per game—12th best among all 258 defenders. With 2 goals and 3 assists, he’s shown he’s not just about solid defending and can be a threat going forward. Up against a Wolves side that has conceded the third-most goals this season, he’s a smart pickup.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) vs. Man City

I know what you’re thinking: “He’s a defender, he’s pricey, and Man City will probably score.” Fair points but hear me out. Trent ranks second among all defenders in FPL points per game—despite not playing the full 90 in 13 matches. His attacking output and set-piece threat (2 goals, 6 assists) make him a constant danger. When these teams met earlier this season, he racked up 8 FPL points, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he puts up similar numbers again. I say go for it.

Midfielders

Mo Salah (Liverpool) vs. Man City

With 12 goals and 7 assists against Man City throughout his stellar career, having Mo Salah in our team is a no-brainer. The Liverpool icon tops the league in both goals (24) and assists (15), and in 26 league games this season, he’s only blanked four times. There’s no doubt in my mind he’s clearing Over 5.5 Fantasy Points, and @1.70, those are banker bets for our online betting community.

Ethan Nwaneri & Mikel Merino (Arsenal) vs. West Ham United

Rolling the dice on two Arsenal players here, but I think it’s a gamble worth taking. With Bukayo Saka out injured, Ethan Nwaneri has stepped up big time, making life miserable for defenders. He’s direct, fearless, and his decision-making is unreal—hard to believe he’s only 17. At just 4.6, he’s hands down the best budget-friendly attacking option in the market right now.

Then there’s Mikel Merino, who came off the bench to bag a brace in Arsenal’s win over Leicester last weekend. With their attacking injuries piling up, Arteta has turned to Merino as a makeshift striker. Against a struggling West Ham side, that move could pay off again—and if it does, you’re getting midfielder points for a player leading the line.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) vs. Aston Villa

I won’t lie—Cole Palmer’s 14 league goals and 4 assists this season look great on paper, but his recent form hasn’t been the best. I even considered leaving him out following his run of 4 games without a goal contribution, but there are a few solid reasons to stick with him. First off, he’s Chelsea’s go-to guy for set-pieces, which means he’s always a threat from penalties, free kicks, or corners. Plus, when these two teams met earlier in the season, he bagged a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win. He’s simply too good to stay in a slump for long, and our bet of the day is on him either scoring or providing an assist and hitting over 5.5 Fantasy Points.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle United) vs. Nottingham Forest

Isak is in the form of his life, with 17 goals and 5 assists in just 23 games. The Newcastle striker is putting up 6.7 fantasy points per game, ranking 2nd among all forwards. His last outing against Man City was rough in that 4-0 drubbing, but now he gets a shot at a Forest side he torched for 11 fantasy points back in November. I’m backing him to hit over 4.5 fantasy points this time around.

Beto (Everton) vs. Man Utd

Beto managed just two goals in his first 14 games, but ever since David Moyes returned to Goodison Park, he’s been on fire. Four goals in his last three league games, starting in all of them—he’s clearly Moyes’ guy. And. at just 4.9, he’s a bargain pick. Against a Manchester United side that finds new ways to self-destruct every week, one of my betting tips is for Beto to keep the hot streak going and get over 3.5 FPL points.

Yoane Wissa (Brentford) vs. Leicester City

It might only be February, but Yoane Wissa is just one goal away from matching his best-ever Premier League goal tally. The DR Congo striker found the net when Brentford thrashed Leicester 4-1 earlier this season, and he’s got a great chance to do it again. Leicester’s defense has been in shambles—they haven’t kept a clean sheet since early October and have lost 9 of their last 10 league games. At 1.48, Wissa hitting Over 3.5 FPL points is the best odds you’ll find today.
