International break action continues with several exciting betting offers this week with BetKing. Excited?

**Greece v France**   

France have already booked their place in Euro 2024 with a stellar qualification campaign of 6 wins from 6 games, scoring 13 goals and conceding just once.  As a result, the motivation for Les Blues in the remaining two games is to maintain their 100% record in Group B, give minutes to more members of the squad and possibly test out some new tactics in a competitive match.  

Admittedly, however, they might find this difficult to do as they visit Greece next.  The motivation for the Greek side is that this is their final game of the qualifiers, and they currently sit third on the table, level on points (12 points each) with Netherlands who have a game in hand.   

Anything other than a win for the Greeks kills their hopes of qualifying for the Euros for the first time since 2012. Chances of them winning this one are low; Greece have only ever beaten France once in five previous meetings, a 1-0 quarter-final win in Euro 2004 en route to the Greeks winning the tournament.  

A theme from all five previous meetings between these teams is the scarcity of goals, apart from the very first meeting which France won 7-1 in 1958. The four subsequent games have produced five goals in total with three 1-0 wins and another ending 1-1. Betting against goals might be the smart pick here.

**North Macedonia v England**  

 Monday’s game is a dead-rubber; neither North Macedonia nor England have anything to play for. 

The Macedonians are currently fourth in Group C with seven points and their position cannot change regardless of the result against England.  

England sit atop the group with 19 points from a possible 21. Qualification is already sealed, and they will remain top of the group regardless of the result.  

That being said, England still have a lot more quality than their hosts and should win this, just as they have in three of five games against North Macedonia. In fact, England haven’t conceded against North Macedonia in their last three meetings and that’s a trend we see continuing here.   

Harry Kane is one player who will be motivated for this game as his current tally of eight goals is just two behind joint leaders, Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo.

**Ukraine v Italy**  

The other Group C game has a lot more at stake. When Ukraine and Italy face off in the final game, it’s a classic winner-takes-all clash with both teams tied on 13 points each.   

England has already qualified for the EUROS, leaving just one slot for whoever qualifies from this clash. Ukraine will be out to win while Italy can still afford a draw with a +4 goal difference advantage over the hosts and will be particularly confident given that they have never lost a game to Ukraine before in nine previous encounters (seven wins and two draws for the Azzurri)   

Given that one side must attack while one could be content with a draw, how this one will shake out isn’t obvious yet. However, only one of the nine previous games between Ukraine and Italy has failed to end with at least two goals scored. Four of those matches ended with at least three total goals scored. The safer option might be to bet on goals.

**Brazil v Argentina**  

 By far the biggest game in South American football, the world watches with keen intent whenever Brazil and Argentina face off.  

 Argentina come into this World Cup qualifying fixture as the CONMEBOL table-toppers and reigning world champions. Any doubts about La Abiceleste’s ability to shake off a shock 2-0 loss to Uruguay will be put to bed by the identity of the opponent. Brazil also lost in their most recent match – a shock 2-1 loss to Colombia who came from behind to win in Barranquilla on Friday. 

Of the two rivals, Brazil is under more pressure. In addition to the crocked Neymar, Vinicius Jnr sustained a thigh injury against Colombia that will keep him out until January 2024. Add in the fact that the Canaries are fifth on the table and Fernando Diniz will be acutely aware that a loss against Argentina could spell the sack for him. 

Argentina will be led by Lionel Messi as usual and this year’s Balon d’Or winner needs no introduction. Despite winning everything in Football, the legendary #10 will be eager to get one over on his biggest international rivals once again.  

And can you really bet against him at this point?

**Uruguay v Bolivia**  

 Marcelo Bielsa is doing a superb job of restoring Uruguay’s reputation as one of the best teams in South America and his record with La Celeste speaks for itself. Uruguay is currently second in the CONMEBOL qualifiers with three wins from five games coming against Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. They’re also the leading scorers in South America with 10 goals so far.  

Up next for them? Bolivia, who have the worst defence in CONMEBOL qualifying with 11 goals conceded already. 

Our bet prediction for this one is straightforward: Uruguay are runaway favourites here. They’ve never lost a home game against Bolivia and are currently on a nine-game winning streak at home against these opponents.

**Ecuador v Chile**  

Ecuador vs Chile in round six of the CONMEBOL qualifiers promises to be a feisty encounter.  The hosts are winless in four games against Chile with 2016’s solitary win their only victory in nine years against La Roja.   

There will be optimism among the home fans that Ecuador can buck that trend, however. Both teams are tied on five points each, with Ecuador (6th) and Chile (8th separated by goal difference.   

A draw is a likely outcome here; both teams drew their last game. The home team, in particular, has a propensity to split points with two consecutive goalless draws.

**Paraguay vs Colombia**  

Currently occupying third place in their CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying group, Colombia travels to face seventh-placed Paraguay who are looking to play at the World Cup for the first time since 2010.  

The hosts have won just two of six games heading into this tie. Colombia, on the other hand, have won 3 and draw 3 of their last 6 games in that period.  

The H2H record shows that Colombia has dominated this matchup with 6 wins, 2 draws and 1 Paraguay win from 9 games.  

Despite the current form of both teams, we think Colombia has what it takes to win this one, especially in light of their comeback win against Brazil last week.
