Lille vs Juventus

Lille are unbeaten in 8 games and have won their last two UCL games, both against the Madrid clubs. Their last outing against Atletico saw them start with what was essentially their B team before throwing on the starters later, and they still walked away with a 3-1 win.

At home against another European giant, they have a chance to solidify their case for a top 8 spot. 

Juventus have lost only one game all season, the last time out in the UCL against Stuttgart, but they have drawn 6 games already. 

Like Lille, they have 6 points and will be looking at this as a winnable fixture after the blow at home in the last round of games.

Full time Prediction:  This looks like a draw. Both teams are likely to cancel each other out. 

Liverpool vs Leverkusen

Arne Slot’s Liverpool career has been phenomenal so far. They are top of the Premier League and have garnered 9 points out of 9 in the UCL, despite tough away trips to Italy and Germany.

They still look like a team improving weekly, but they also have been able to grind out results almost every game. Mohamed Salah has looked fired up and could be the difference in this game.

Leverkusen are not having a great season so far. They have drawn 3 of their last 4 games and 4 of their last 6. Still, they have only lost a game this season, in all competitions, and are still unbeaten in the Champions League. A trip to Anfield is always daunting but they remain very hard to beat.

Full time Prediction: This also looks like a draw, but Liverpool are favourites to take the game. Go for a Liverpool win or draw.

Crvena Zvezda Belgrade vs Barcelona

Crvena Zvezda have been near impeccable in the league, winning 12 and drawing 1 of their 13 games so far. 

However, their UCL form has been dire. They have lost all three games, scoring 2 and conceding 11. A home game against a red hot Barcelona is the stuff of nightmares for them, but they will lean on their home support to guide them through it. 

Barcelona have looked unstoppable this season. Their recent run of victories against Sevilla, Bayern and Real Madrid, in which they scored 13 goals and conceded only 2 has established them as firm favourites for all the available trophies this season.

In the form they are in, against a team that has lost every game in the UCL so far, this game could be a bloodbath. 

Full time Prediction: Go for Barcelona to win and Over 2.5.

Real Madrid vs Milan

Real Madrid are hurting. After suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat at home at the hands of their bitter rivals, Barcelona, they saw their hopes of having the next Ballon d’Or winner dashed after Vinicius Jr got snubbed for Rodri. 

Their reaction to it shows a club desperate to make a statement. A home UCL tie against a club of the stature of Milan is exactly what the doctor ordered. 

Kylian Mbappe came under heavy criticism after El-Clasico and will be looking to bounce back. A goal will take him level with Thierry Henry in 8th on the UCL top scorers all-time list.

Milan have looked weak for most of the season, and the ongoing issues between star player Rafael Leão and manager Paulo Fonseca have been a big distraction for the entire team.

 Having lost 2 of their 3 UCL games so far, they know that a defeat here could be devastating for their hopes of making it to the next round.

Full time Prediction: Real Madrid to win, and at least 2 goals will be scored.

Inter vs Arsenal 

Despite a few poor results this season, Inter still look imperious when they turn on the style. They have not lost in 8 games since their surprising defeat in the Milan derby, but their recent 4-4 draw with Juventus was a big cause for concern after they let a 2-goal lead slip late on. 

That said, they won the other 7 games in that run so they come into this game looking strong, despite their mixed big game record. 

Arsenal, on their part, have not looked as strong as they did last season. Injuries have been a problem for them, admittedly, but they really should be doing better. 

The one big positive for them is that they have not lost a big game so far this season, despite facing Man City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham, PSG and Atalanta already. They will hope to continue that in this game, with their primary focus being to keep it solid at the back and build on that. 

Full time Prediction: Expect both teams to cancel each other out, even though PSG could nick it. PSG win or draw is the safer option. A draw is the brave option.

Galatasaray vs Tottenham

Two of the Europa League favourites face off in this one, with Galatasaray slight favourites due to their fiery home support. A front two of Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi is always scary and Tottenham’s leaky defence will be up against it from the first minute. 

Spurs will be facing their first real test in this competition so far, in a game that could see them lose their 100% record. They would see a draw as a good result, because of the quality they will be up against. 

Full time Prediction: Expect end to end football and lots of corners.

Lazio vs Porto

Lazio are top of the UEL standings after getting 9 points out of 9 available and scoring 9 goals. They have won 4 straight games in all competitions, and 8 of their last 9.

They will fancy their chances against a Porto team that hasn’t done too well so far. 

Porto, on their part, have just 4 points out of 9 and face a daunting trip to Italy to face their opponents. They need to get a win here so as not to fall away from the rest of the chasing pack so early. 

Full time Prediction: Expect a Lazio win. 

Manchester United vs PAOK Thessaloniki

The post-ten Hag era is in full flow, and Manchester United are yet to lose so far. While they wait for new manager Ruben Amorim to resume, many of the players will be eager to impress and stake their claims for starting shirts. 

A game at home to PAOK is the perfect opportunity to do that, especially with Manchester United desperately needing a win after three consecutive draws in the competition.

PAOK, despite being 2nd in their league, are currently 30th on the UEL standings. A draw and 2 defeats so far mean that they are in trouble and are unlikely to make the next round, especially if they lose this game as well.

Full time Prediction: Expect a fairly straightforward Manchester United win, with at least 2 goals scored.

Chelsea vs Noah Yerevan

Chelsea are having the time of their lives in this competition, and it is no surprise to anybody. Despite using their B-team so far, they have won 2 out of 2 games, scoring 8 times. 

They sit top of the standings and look like early favourites to win the trophy. This game should be another high scoring win, despite their recent shaky form in the league.

Little-known Noah Yerevan have shown that they can compete, having won 1 of their 2 games so far. 

They will be playing with little pressure, knowing that not many expect them to walk away with a positive result. Expect them to put up a fight to try to prove a point.

Full time Prediction: Chelsea to win and Over 3.5 goals scored.
