**Aston Villa vs. Arsenal** 

A 97th minute goal from Declan Rice ensured the Gunners left Luton Town with all 3 points as they made it 4 straight wins in the English Premier League. Twice, Arsenal took the lead, and twice Luton Town drew level. The hosts then took the lead in the 57th minute through midfielder, Ross Barkely but, just like both of Arsenal’s leads, it was short-lived as Kai Havertz popped up with his 3rd goal in 4 games for the North London side. The late winner from their £100m midfielder was the latest winning goal they had scored away from home in a Premier League game, and it ended a 10-game winless run at Kenilworth Road in all competitions. Now, they head to Villa Park to face a familiar face.  

Unai Emery heaped more misery on Manchester City as his Aston Villa side beat the reigning champions 1-0 to earn a much0deserved 3 points. The win was Emery’s first over Pep Guardiola after 13 failed attempts that included 9 losses. It was also Villa’s first league victory over Man City since September 2013 but more impressively; it was the club’s 14th home league win in a row, and it sent them up to 3rd position. With Villa Park now a veritable fortress, this clash just became even tastier.  

The last time these two sides met, they served us a classic as Arsenal once again claimed a late win. It was 2-2 after 90 minutes of play but a 93rd minute own goal from former Arsenal keeper, Emiliano Martinez and a 98th goal from Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners a 4-2 win. Though Mikel Arteta will serve a 1-game touchline ban after receiving a 3rd yellow card of the season for his “excessive” celebrations at Luton Town, Arsenal will march into Villa Park full of confidence. Against no side have the Gunners won more EPL away games than they have against Aston Villa (14), and they have won each of their last 4 league games (both home and away) against Unai Emery’s side.  

Aston Villa’s attack has been reliable all season, and their 34 league goals scored is the second most in the league, behind Man City (36). Their preferred style of play features a high line that has reaped them rewards all season and we expect them to breach an Arsenal defense that is statistically the best in the league, but has also shown some vulnerability against Luton. We expect Arsenal to get on the scoresheet as well despite Villa’s outstanding home form. The Gunners have been shut out just once all season; in their 1-0 loss to Newcastle and we believe we’re in store for a high-scoring game.

**Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bayern Munich** 

Frankfurt are coming off a disappointing 2-0 loss to third tier side, FC Saarbrücken in the DFB Pokal Round of 16. The loss was their 4th in a row across all competitions, including two at home to Stuttgart and PAOK. Frankfurt had lost just one home game in their previous 26 but have surprisingly succumbed to two losses in just a matter of days. Now, they seek a return to winning ways against the one team that can relate to their DFB Pokal embarrassment, Bayern Munich. The reigning German champions suffered a 2-1 loss to FC Saarbrücken back in November in the Second Round of the DFB Pokal. So, they do share that in common.  

After having their match with Union Berlin postponed last weekend due to weather conditions, and having already been knocked out of the DFB Pokal which meant no midweek fixture, Bayern Munich have had 10 days to rest for this game compared to Frankfurt’s 2 days. Because of this, the overwhelming expectation is that Bayern Munich will emerge as comfortable winners in this game. Another reason behind our belief is the gulf in attacking quality. Bayern Munich averages the most shots per game in the Bundesliga (19.9) while Frankfurt are 2nd from the bottom with just 11.0 attempts per game.  

A huge part of Bayern’s outstanding attack is Harry Kane. The England captain leads the league with 18 goals in just 12 games, and barring an injury, is expected to break Robert Lewandowski’s record 41-goal tally. Having rested for 10 days, he has been starved for goals; backing him to add to his tally would be a smart addition to your bet prediction.

**Manchester United vs. Bournemouth** 

Manchester United got a much-needed win over Chelsea on Wednesday night to momentarily silence their critics. Following their capitulation in the 3-3 draw at Galatasaray and their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle, many members of the football world were understandably harsh with their criticism. Scott McTominay was once again the hero for the Red Devils as he scored a brace to see off the Blues who never looked like threatening the hosts. The win was the club’s 6th in the league in 8 games, but it was the manner of attack and overall performance that gladdened the fans. The 4.07 xG registered by Manchester United was the second highest by any team this season. Now, they’ll hope to keep this going as they welcome the Cherries to Old Trafford.  

After a shaky start to the season that saw them pick up just 3 points from their opening 9 games, Bournemouth seem to have found some stability under new manager, Andoni Iraola. They’ve picked up 13 points from that last 18 available, and only Arsenal, who have won 4 league games in a row, have a better record than the Cherries in that span. On Wednesday night, goals from Marcos Senesi and Kieffer Moore were enough to see off Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. It was their 2nd away win on the bounce, and they’ll head to Old Trafford hoping to make that 3 in 3.  

Manchester United may be an inconsistent side but they have always got results against teams in the bottom half of the table, especially at home. Against Bournemouth, they have a near-perfect record at Old Trafford with 9 wins and a draw in their last 10 in all competitions. In the win against Chelsea, they finally dropped Marcus Rashford, and the team seemed a lot better despite occasional lapses in defense. We believe they have found something to build on, and they should have a comfortable win on Saturday.

**PSG vs. Nantes** 

Ahead of what would be a tough Champions League trip to Dortmund, PSG must first seek to maintain their 4-point lead in the league with a victory over Nantes. Over the weekend, they were 2-0 winners away at Le Havre despite Gigi Donnarumma getting sent off in the 10th minute. Kylian Mbappe was once again the hero as he scored the winning goal very early in the first half to ease the minds of the Parisians. **Tottenham Hotspur vs. Newcastle United**

**Luton Town vs. Manchester City** 

For the first time in ages, the negative spotlight has shifted from the red half of Manchester to the blue half. Following the 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at Villa Park, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have now gone 4 games without a win in the league, the joint longest since he took charge of the club. Only Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest are on a worse run over that 4-game span than Man City - a phrase we never imagined uttering at this stage of the competition, even in our wildest dreams. As a result, the reigning Champions have dropped to 4th on the league standings, 6 points behind league leaders, Arsenal and in desperate need of a win. The big news ahead of this clash is the return of Rodri. The Spanish midfielder is quickly becoming the most valuable player at Man City as the team has won none of the last 6 games, he’s missed including 4 this season which all resulted in loses.  

Luton Town has picked up just 2 wins and 3 draws in their 15 league games so far, but they’ve acquitted themselves well against the league’s biggest names. They lost by lone goals to Spurs and Manchester United, picked up a 2-1 win at Goodison Park, held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw, and were seconds away from claiming a point off Arsenal before Declan Rice’s 97th minute winner.  

City haven’t lost to Luton Town in 9 league meetings, a run stretching back to 1986. However, none of those meetings were in the Premier League and were all in the lower tier. In fact, the last meeting between these two sides was a third-tier tie back in 1999 which Man City won 2-0. We believe Man City will snap their winless streak by getting all 3 points in this match, but our bet of the day is for Luton Town to make it tough for them by scoring at least one goal.

**Everton vs. Chelsea** 

Chelsea looked vulnerable in their loss to Manchester United, leaving manager, Mauricio Pochettino worried. They gave up 4.07xG to the Red Devils and were lucky to concede just twice.
