Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

What’s that phrase the kids use? “Aura for Aura”. That’s exactly what came to mind watching Real Madrid’s epic second-half comeback over Dortmund on Tuesday—Vinicius Jr. went off with a hat-trick, and then his countryman Raphinha followed up on Wednesday with a hat-trick of his own as Barcelona crushed Bayern 4-1.

 These two Brazilians have been in incredible form this season with Vinicius Jr - who is expected to receive the Ballon d’Or award on Monday - putting up 8 goals & 7 assists in 14 games for Los Blancos while Raphinha has been on the form of his life with 9 goals & 8 assists in 13 games.

Madrid may have won the last four against Barca, but with Hansi Flick’s men in killer form, I’d count on goals in this one.

Betting Tips:

Man City vs. Southampton

After a weekend where their narrow win over Wolves raised more questions than it answered, Manchester City cruised to a 5-0 win against Sparta Praha in the Champions League.

Their defense in Europe has been night and day compared to the league: three clean sheets in three UCL games versus zero in the Premier League since opening day.

 With Southampton sitting 19th in the table, people are expecting another easy City win. Plus, Erling Haaland, who’d been in a bit of a drought, got on the scoresheet in that 5-0 match. He’s back, and our bet of the day is on his goals leading City to another big win.

Betting Tips:

● Bet Builder: Man City To Win + Haaland Anytime Scorer

@1.42

● Man City Over 2.5 Goals

Aston Villa vs. Bournemouth

This one’s tricky to call, even though Aston Villa look like the favourites on paper. The Villans are coming off a big midweek win over Bologna, keeping them top of their Champions League standing.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth, while fresh from no midweek action, will still be buzzing from their win over Arsenal and hoping to carry that momentum to Villa Park. But the Cherries have struggled on the road, losing 6 of their last 9 away league games (W2, D1) and conceding first in each of their last 7.

BetKing has got the best odds on that if you’re looking for a play, but that aside, we’re backing the side with the stronger lineup here.

Betting Tips:

● Aston Villa To Score First

● Bet Builder: Aston Villa Win or Draw + Over 1.5 Goals

Chelsea vs. Newcastle

Chelsea had a big 4-1 win over Panathinaikos in the Conference League on Thursday, but having named a totally different starting XI, that result isn’t likely to affect their freshness here.

It just shows the depth Enzo Maresca has at his disposal, and he’ll be looking to make the most of it when the Magpies come to town.

This is the first of two clashes between these two teams this week, with another matchup coming in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, though this one’s clearly the main event. Chelsea have been in solid form and have history on their side too—just one loss in their last 29 league home games against Newcastle (W21, D7), and that was way back in 2012.

Also, with Cole Palmer rested midweek, I think I speak for the entire online betting community when I say he’s getting on the scoresheet.

Betting Tips:

● Bet Builder: Chelsea to Win + Cole Palmer Anytime Scorer

@2.90

● Over 1.5 Goals

West Ham vs. Man United

In a perfect world, the manager of the losing side here would be driven straight to the airport and sent to his country. And no, the courtesy of having his bags packed shouldn’t be extended to him.

Both clubs went big in the summer transfer market, but there’s been little to show for it. Manchester United’s draw with Fenerbahce on Thursday brings them to just 1 win in their last 7 across all competitions—they’re sitting 21st in the Europa League group and 12th in the EPL, which says it all.

 West Ham aren’t much better, with only 1 win in their last 7 games and currently sitting 15th. With both teams in shambles, betting on goals feels like a safe move.

Betting Tips:

● Both Teams to Score

@1.45

● Over 2.5 Goals

Arsenal vs. Liverpool

We’ll be flying (against Liverpool). Trust me.’”That’s what a confident Mikel Arteta had to say after Tuesday’s narrow Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk. The Gunners got the win, but fans were quick to criticise the performance, mainly the team selection.

Those same concerns linger as they face Liverpool, with Bukayo Saka and Calafiori doubtful and both William Saliba (suspension) and Odegaard (injury) definitely out.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are also missing some key players—Alisson’s still sidelined, and Diogo Jota, who’s either scored or assisted in every Emirates trip since joining Liverpool, is a big miss. Still, Arne Slot has reason to feel confident: under his watch, Liverpool have taken 11 wins out of 12, with 7 clean sheets.

Betting Tips:

● Double Chance: Liverpool to Win or Draw

@1.50

● Arsenal to Score Under 1.5 Goals

@1.60

Inter vs. Juventus

After a gut-wrenching Champions League loss to Stuttgart, courtesy of a 92nd-minute goal, Juventus are off to Milan to face reigning champs Inter, who coincidentally bagged a last-gasp 92nd-minute winner against Young Boys on Tuesday.

Marcus Thuram came off the bench to secure that goal for the Nerazzurri, bringing his season tally to 8 goals in 10 games. Leading Serie A with 7 goals, the Frenchman is already a top contender for Player of the Season.

Here’s the catch: while Juventus have had a tough time keeping clean sheets in Europe, their league defense has been solid, conceding just one goal so far—the best record across the Top 5 leagues.

Betting Tips:

● Double Chance: Inter to Win or Draw

@1.16

● Under 2.5 Goals

@1.66

Fiorentina vs. AS Roma

With five wins and a draw in their last six games, Fiorentina are in some of their best form in years. They’ve scored 10 goals in just two games since the international break, and impressively, both were on the road.

Now sitting 5th in the table, they’re eyeing a top-four spot. AS Roma, on the other hand, have won none of their last three away trips to Fiorentina, making this a challenging matchup.

Currently 10th, Roma may have gotten a morale boost with a narrow Europa League win over Dynamo Kyiv after some tough recent results. But, I still fancy Fiorentina to avoid defeat here.

Betting Tips:

● Double Chance: Fiorentina to Win or Draw

@1.42

● Over 1.5 Goals

@1.29

Marseille vs. PSG

The stakes are sky high in this season’s first Le Classique, as league leaders PSG head to face a transformed Marseille under De Zerbi. Marseille have been on fire offensively, ranking second in goals with 21, led by Mason Greenwood’s 6 and Luis Henrique’s 4.

Over at PSG, Bradley Barcola—September’s Player of the Month—has been unstoppable with a league-best 7 goals, while new signing Joao Neves tops the assist charts with 6.

I’m counting on plenty of goals in this one, plus a fair share of cards, considering the long-standing tension between these two sides.

Betting Tips:

● Over 2.5 Goals

@1.52

● Both Teams to Score

@1.46

● Marseille to Get More Cards

@2.05

Real Betis vs. Atletico

Atletico have had a disappointing season so far. While they’re sitting 3rd in La Liga, their hefty summer investments haven’t yielded great results, to say the least. They might be unbeaten in the league with 5 wins and 5 draws, but they’re already 7 points behind first-place Barcelona.

 In the Champions League, they’ve lost 2 of their 3 matches, conceding 8 goals, leaving them in 27th place. Real Betis haven't fared much better, though they didn’t make the same big splashes in the transfer market as Atleti.

They’re also sitting 27th in Europe (in the Conference League) and 7th in the league. I’m expecting this one to end in a draw.

Betting Tips:

● Draw

@3.25

● Both Teams to Score
