**How to play Blackjack**

**Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how to play Blackjack.**

Once you place your bet, you’ll receive two cards, face up. The dealer will also get two cards, but one of their cards will be face down. Add up the values of your cards, remembering that number cards are worth their number, face cards are worth 10, and Aces can be either 1 or 11.   

If your hand value is exactly 21, like an Ace and a 10, you have a “Blackjack” and an immediate win! If your hand value is close to 21, like 18, 19, or 20, you can choose to hit and take another card to try to get closer to 21 or stand and keep your current hand to avoid going over 21.   

Once your hand value goes over 21, you bust and lose your bet. After your turn, the dealer reveals their face-down card and follows a set of rules. If their hand value is 16 or less, they must draw another card. If their hand value is 17 or more, they must stand. If the dealer has more than 21, you win! If their hand value is less than 21 but higher than yours, you lose.  

N.B: A blackjack ace has a value of 11 unless that will give you/the dealer a score of 21. If it does, the value becomes 1. 

**Blackjack betting tips**

So, you know how to play, but do you know how to boost your chances of cashing out your bets? This is a game of luck but there are still strategies that can improve your chances. These tips might work for you: 

Hit on Low Hands: If your starting hand is less than 11, always hit and take the chance to get closer to 21 since there’s zero chance of you getting busted out.  

Read the Dealer’s Card: Pay attention to the dealer’s face-up card. If it’s a 6, they might have a total of 16 (assuming their face-down card is a 10). They’ll likely bust, so play it safe. If their face-up card is a 9 or 10, they might have a strong total (19 or 20), so take a few risks to try and get closer.  

Assume the Face-Down Card is a 10: Since all tens, jacks, queens, and kings are worth 10, it’s possible that the dealer’s face-down card is a 10. Use this assumption to make informed decisions about hitting, standing, or doubling down. 

**Roulette**

Roulette is a game of chance where you bet on a spinning wheel with numbers 0-36 on it. Your goal is to predict which number the ball will land on when the wheel stops spinning. Place your bets on the table alongside the wheel and wait for the outcome.  

When making your predictions, you can place two main types of bets - inside and outside bets.  

As the name suggests, inside bets are made inside the rectangle where all the numbers are on the table. “Outside bets” refer to the numbers on the outside. You can pick one number, two numbers next to each other, or even as many as 12 numbers in a group, all with varying odds (from 2 to 35).

**Placing your bets**

- Select the chip denomination with which you would like to bet. (Minimum bet is N200, maximum is N30,000)  

- Place your chip on the table (you can do that on a specific number, a line, or an edge) 

- If you place your chip on a line or edge, the screen will highlight all the numbers associated with that line or edge.  

- Start spinning.

1- Manage Your Bankroll: Set a virtual betting budget and stick to it. Don’t chase losses, and don’t bet more than you can afford. This will help you stay in the game longer and also help you avoid making reckless decisions.
